Here’s the artwork for ‘AM’, released on 9th Sept 2013.” The minimal design is in keeping with the animated video and artwork for the album’s lead single ‘Do I Wanna Know?' The Arctic Monkeys keep their design rather simple. Like many of the other artists I have spoken about before they follow this noir theme. The band never have themselves on the front of the cover, this establishes that they are already well known and don't feel the need to have to promote more.
In my case, I will have my artist on the front cover as I feel it works more with his appearance, he is also a solo artist so he will need further promotion.
I like the layout of this website, although I think there could be more to it. Everything is black and white which makes it look monotonous and stale. The black and white look is the norm for the artist so it keeps in with the theme.
Although, now a days websites aren't used much anymore. Instagram and Twitter are the big names in social media and they pull through all the important information (New album/Tour Dates) instead of people actually having to look on their website,
